Ball joints
I just started the permanent installation of my "Scare Bird" disk brakes, control arms, and torsion bars in my 65 Barracuda. The lower arms have been completely overhauled, new pivot shafts, bushings, reinforcement plates and new hardware. (adjusters) The new uppers are of the tubular type, with new ball joints, the knuckles have new ball joints. None of the steering linkage is installed nor the steering box. It has been some time since I've installed ball joints. Everything is torqued to specs. Question: just how much resistance should there be to move the spindle (by hand) back and forth?
