Ok, more info, sorry if this is too off topic.

I am going to look at a 6.1 this afternoon that spun the #6 rod bearing. I'm going to look at the crank journal for discoloration/damage and hopefully the rest of the unit as well. Seems it was in a Jeep that had the engine replaced so there is no harness, ecu, water pump exhaust manifolds etc. It's basically a top to bottom core at this point. The original intake is part of the package as well.

price is $1k obo, I'm already leaning towards obo, but opinions on this would be great.

Again, if it's too off topic, I'll go make a thread but I thought this might be pertinent for those just getting into this. (like me)


EDIT: i believe the the following are also missing. Injectors/rails, oil pan, throttle body, and whatever else they needed for the new motor.
