Really cool friend's car. Not Mopar, but cool

I was going to talk about that. It is a low mile original car in exceptional condition with a good running 305, PS, disk brakes and factory air. It is surprisingly quick for a 305.

They also have a 262 V8 as well. A 4.3L. Same size as the 4.3 GM V6. I've rebuilt one. TINY bore. Still though, like any other Chevy small block, they are good engines.

Funny story......my sister had a 75 2+2 Monza with the 262 in it. It sounds like that car. It was loaded. PS, PB, AC, tilt, cruise. Although...and I'm glad, it had roll up windows. Anyway......I "borrowed it" every now and again. It was a hoot to drive. BIG sway bars front and rear. Well......I blew that 262 SLAM to pieces one night doin a burnout. A friend pulled me home. That following Saturday, I went to a guy's junkyard I knew and got a........400 small block out of a Chevy truck for 150 bucks. It was a GOOD running engine. I used all the tin and accessories of my sister's engine.....even put the two barrel back on it. That little car would really light it up then. She GAVE it to me about a year later when she got a Volkswagen Jetta. <rolls eyes> I ended up putting 4 barrel, hooker headers on it a small cam. That car was a lotta fun. It got me started in Monzas. I had like three more. The last one I had, I shoehorned a stock 350HP 396 in just because everybody said it wouldn't fit. It did too. lol
