Got to try out my buddy Brian’s cragars on my Dart over the weekend. I really like the way they look! I’d love to find some 15’s for mine, either cragars or some slots. Love my steel wheels but would love to give it a “day 2” look. It was a beautiful day and afterwards I took the long way home, the 440 loved the cool fall air. Getting close to parking it for the season.

The Cragers look sharp, but the offset doesn't look right on the back Cragars.

I swap tires and wheels around on my cars too. Its a great way to change a cars personality. To be honest, the cragars are okay, but i really like the steelies and caps look on your car. Get another set you like, and swap 'em when you want!

IMHO:

I like the Cragers BUT the offset is wrong. Side shot looks good but the rear shot shows the back spacing is off for your car.

Steels are cool but not Cragar cool!

also- SN: the gas cap in black.... stands out like a sore thumb. Again in my humble opinion. Go chrome or body color.
Car looks great over all both ways.

I wouldn't have guessed until seeing the very first picture, but that is my favorite...painted steel without the caps. One of my best friends had a 67 Dart in the early 70s that had just the painted steel wheels. We thought it looked good like that.

Is that a 69 stripe on there?
Yeah, that is one thing about the car I am on the fence about. I bought the car from a friend and he put it on a few years ago. It looks ok and actually has grown on me a bit, but I think I will either take it off and leave it or maybe replace it with the correct style.

Oh yeah totally wrong offset! Just trying to get an idea of how it would look with a set. Yes the gas cap will either get painted or replaced with a flip top.
Thank you!

I know how it is to change the look of your car occasionally. I change between body color steel wheels and Hurst mags on my Belvedere. I always go back to the steel wheels. In my opinion, your car looks better with the steel wheels.

just slap some slots on there and call it a day
US indy still makes em in SBP and LBP in several different sizes

Personally I like he painted steel and dog dish look. Cragers are very overdone (so are Rally wheels..).

What bolt pattern are you running?

That does make choices tough, Cragar's and very few other option are in that list.
Yeah it is slim pickings that is for sure. Slots seem to be the best deal so to speak they are about 135.00 for SBP in a 15x6 and 7' or 8'. Cragars or Keystone Klassics are over 200 a piece.

Found cragars 15x7 for $202, ansen sprint slots 15x7 for $103 american racing outlaw, in black or machined, (centerline copy) at $106-112, and 17x8 polished five spokes (torque thrust copy) from boyd coddington for $187. I have seen the boyds in gray too, i like the gray better.
All the above are 5x4 pattern.

If you are interested, its a online company called Extreme Customs. Clic on wheels, then specify 5 on 4 bolt patern, and the above mentioned wheel will show up.
Edit i think i saw the gray boyds at either summit or jegs, dont remember the price. Same technique at summit, go to wheels, and specify 5 on 4 to see their selection. Wheels for Less is also a good resource, they ship free and include lugs with wheel purchase.
