About 6 months ago, a friend of mine found a really nice 64 Biscayne with a 6 cylinder. It was a 56,000 car that was very original and untouched. The front seat isn't ripped. The blanket is to protect it. The seats are in amazing condition. A deep cleaning would make them look like new. He yanked the 6 and put in a stroked and built 409. Otherwise, it was left as is. I have a video of it running (it sounds so sweet) but I have never figured out how to post a video.

I love Biscaynes. I always wanted to build a totally stripped down clapped out lookin 67 with a really hot 427. Be some embarrassing stuff to get whooped by an old ratty Biscayne.

I like that Monza in the background too. I've had several of those.

I was going to talk about that. It is a low mile original car in exceptional condition with a good running 305, PS, disk brakes and factory air. It is surprisingly quick for a 305.

They also have a 262 V8 as well. A 4.3L. Same size as the 4.3 GM V6. I've rebuilt one. TINY bore. Still though, like any other Chevy small block, they are good engines.

Funny story......my sister had a 75 2+2 Monza with the 262 in it. It sounds like that car. It was loaded. PS, PB, AC, tilt, cruise. Although...and I'm glad, it had roll up windows. Anyway......I "borrowed it" every now and again. It was a hoot to drive. BIG sway bars front and rear. Well......I blew that 262 SLAM to pieces one night doin a burnout. A friend pulled me home. That following Saturday, I went to a guy's junkyard I knew and got a........400 small block out of a Chevy truck for 150 bucks. It was a GOOD running engine. I used all the tin and accessories of my sister's engine.....even put the two barrel back on it. That little car would really light it up then. She GAVE it to me about a year later when she got a Volkswagen Jetta. <rolls eyes> I ended up putting 4 barrel, hooker headers on it a small cam. That car was a lotta fun. It got me started in Monzas. I had like three more. The last one I had, I shoehorned a stock 350HP 396 in just because everybody said it wouldn't fit. It did too. lol

That is a cool car I like it mopar or not!
Biscaynes have always been my favorite Chevy. You just dont see as many of them as chevelle, novas, and Camaros and I like that. I love all classic cars mopars are just my favorites but there arent many classics I dont like. I absolutely love buicks especially the 40s and 50s

Nice car!
I really like the colors and the 409 is a bonus.
I bet it's really fun to drive!

LOLOL The problem with Biscaynes is, they are so "sleepy" they look suspicious!!!

My old 63 SS 327. Bought it spring of 70 immediately before heading from N end of Idaho to NAS Miramar, San Diego. I had it about a year it was the "gateway drug" to a 69 383 RR and later the 70 440-6 car

The old 409 W block very recognizable, almost (dare I say) as notable as a Hemi to the old farts here. Had a 348 tri-power '60 Impala as my first car. Very nice car, I like Biscayne types myself, I sold this Bel Aire a few years ago.

The only thing that could make that car any cooler would be a 4 speed in front of that bench seat behind the 409. Great car thanks for posting.

I had a 64 Ford Custom in HS but just had a 283. Have had a 66 Post Coronet I put a 440 in, etc et. Today out there in the Tx heat fabbing and putting in floor pans in 64 Post Belvedere or is it a Savoy!??? It will get BB of some form.

I can still remember before I joined the Navy (68) friend of mine and I were trolling a remote field out near his Gramps place, several cars out there. One was the (what was the fancy?) 58 Chev wagon, opened the hood and there sits a 348 tri-power. A quick Google says it must have been a Nomad, moredoor by 58

I remember back in the early 90's there was a '67 for sale. Black/Black steelies. That thing was Sinister looking.
