Hello everyone I'm new here and I'm gonna need all the help I can get. I've got a 1972 plymouth duster thats a project car. The body is very straight and id say there will be very little body work. The interior on the other hand is gonna need attention. My question is if there's some kind of manual on these cars for the inside. Steering column, wiring and that sort of stuff. Some stuff I have but I believe I'm gonna be missing some parts and bolts. If anyone can think of anything it would be very appreciated

This outfit reprints some of this stuff. The issue I have with them is that they go completely nuts with watermarks in the diagrams for their company copyrights protection, which is interesting since they are not the ones who originally produced it!!! it is however better than nothing

Howdy! Welcome to the forums! I too am just getting rolling on my 72 Duster. When I got it, It came with the two factory manuals (one for the body, one for the mechanicals and interior). These have found everything I've looked for so far and have proved to be invaluable. Looking forward to hearing about your progress!

Thanks diaddigo I'm gonna order those manuals asap haven't had time just yet. I had to drop my old gas tank and buy a new one. If you know where I could find some rear tail lights please let me know. I can't find any online.

make sure you check the fuel lines too for any crud that still may be hanging around just to cover your bases. I'll be on the lookout for some, since 72s are one year only lights they're hard to come by although I stand by that 72 is still the best year of the duster but I may be biased. Are yours missing or just in rough shape?

I've got one that the lense is cracked and a couple tabs broken. The other one has 2 or 3 tabs broken too but no lenses

Beware the Faxon literature. I bought some, and the strong watermark makes it almost unreadable.
