..ah the joys of the English language, as a native speaker (I’m English) we can agree that ‘dizzy’ is indeed an abberation, a colloquialism if you will. However we’ll have to agree to disagree on other aspects of the lexicon, we say ‘boot’, you say ‘trunk’ and what you call a ‘hood’ we refer to quaintly as a ‘bonnet’. As another English speaking nation, Aussies most certainly refer annoyingly to the existence of a ‘car by’. What is one to do?
