Single plain intakes for small engine with FI
TT5.9mag. And MOPAROFFICIAL
thanks for the input. I recognized a few things you mentioned and I’m glad you brought them up.
Big HP needs single plane intakes.
Honestly if I had the under hood room I’d weld up a sheet metal intake and delete the aluminum all together. I’d go multiport injection on a 318 low HP engine and be okay with the results. But the TBI units being mass produced, easy to work with and “bolt on” is so easy and hidden. I really just wanted to know what others think of what Intake is best to use for this set up. If there are any gains or information about this subject I’ve yet to read. And of course - personal preference- the question/pole at the top. There are a lot of people who would like to know more about bolt on fuel injection because it allows an old engine to run better on this crap fuel we are being sold but don’t have the working knowledge of it. With the cost still higher than a carb it is out of the reach for some or breaks the bank for others if additional parts are needed. I was able to afford this set up and now a few test mules would be great but the industry seem to leave MoPars out during their studies. Gotta start some where. Thanks for all the comments and info FABO members!
