The headlight switch has a release button underneath on the bottom that you can feel if you reach back there. You pull the switch out, then push the button / release, and then pull it the rest of the way out. After that there is a threaded nut you will see on the front. A very careful screwdriver can remove it. Or build a tool for it. The wiper knob just pulls off I think, and then has a nut on front as well.
