Hey guys, I’m never one to kiss corporate butt......but, I just ordered all my pieces to convert my D-150 to carburetor and turbo it.
Distributor, fuel pump, pressure Reg. Gaskets etc.
Well according to the tracking the shipment was delivered to the wrong place. I don’t have many neighbors, so I checked with them all.
Next day the next order I made arrived, but no first order, so I contacted Summit, even though their website says wait three days, in case it shows up.
Well, the next day it did! Someone had dropped it on my front porch.
I contacted Summit and they had already sent a complete replacement order No charge “it will be there in the morning” they said.
They emailed me a return label and said “happy to help” even though I had jumped the gun.

That is some customer service!
I’ve been using Summit for a long time, but I sure won’t be stopping anytime soon!

Have you had a vender that is worthy of mention?

I recently ordered a bolt set and a linelock from summit. They said it would ship that day, from nevada to my address in california, but possibly to expect shipping delays. Recieved it the next morning. I was so amazed, i called summit up to compliment, not complain. The giy i spoke to was grateful, but somewhat surprised to recieve compliments.
Days later, at the races, i found out that my new helmet, bought a few years ago, been on my head maybe five times, was out of date. (Theres another lesson i have yet to learn, apparently... dont buy new helmets or seat belts till the car is actually ready for the track!)
So i did a little research and found a helmet at summit with a new 2020 snell. Cool, this one will last me the rest of my life! Ordered it, but had to come from summit texas. I hoped to get it in time for the fall fling, about a week away. It arrived in a day and a half.
Thankyou, Summit.

For the Canadians on here...

Detroit Muscle Technologies --- Excellent service, quick delivery

TTI Exhaust ---- excellent service, packaging and shipping excellent

Classic Industries --- excellent service and they will ship USPS but you have to ask them as it is not advertised and is way cheaper!

Mancini Racing ---- excellent service , quick delivery.

Legendary Auto Interiors --- Top shelf products ,well packaged but the website sucks!! When I phoned to place my order instead, service was excellent.

Cambridge Rechroming ,Ontario, Canada --- excellent service , beautiful refinishing, well packaged , a little slow on return of product as they are extremely busy but worth the wait.

Mr. Heater Box ----- Also in Canada, Excellent service, great prices , also do dash instruments and recalibration of Tach or Speedometer, Can change most any automotive clock to quartz movement. Very knowledgeable !!

I have personally used all these suppliers and spent a fair chunk of change with them .

I have never had ONE SINGLE PROBLEM from Summit. In fact, here's the closest I came. Right after I got hurt, I had to have an engine built for my 73 D100. I found a 360 core, but because of the nature of my injury, I couldn't do all the work myself. It's the only engine I ever let anyone else build and install. Anyway, the shop ordered a new oil pan as the engine in the truck was a 318 and the new engine was a 360. The shop mangled the new pan trying to get the truck pickup to fit. I sent the pan back to Summit explaining my whole situation. I said that I basically knew they could not take the pan back or swap it. They sent me back a $50 gift certificate that I used for a new truck pan. Totally not their fault, but they took care of a good customer. That's why when I need something from a speed shop, Summit gets the first try. Every time.

Thanks for the advice!
I always use USPS, but it was not listed as an option, but there was the option of free one day shipping, so foolishly I chose that.
I will always ask from now in

I ordered a set of S/W gauges from Summit. The volt gauge didn't work. I called, and even though I had bought the gauges 6 months ago, they told me they would ship the new one out, and don't bother sending the old one back. A great company to deal with.

Jim from Detroitmuscletechnologies.com has hand delivered parts to my house 4 times during this whole virus mess. No charge for shipping because I'm close to the warehouse. Just knocks on the door. Asks how my Dart is progressing. He is glad to hear positive feedback from the guys actually using the parts. We need more Jim's

Agreed! I had one issue with a part I ordered from him. Contacted DMT, he took my call, resolved the problem instantly with no drama.

Excellent service and he has a customer for life!!

And let's not forget about DR.DIFF. Cass is a straight shooter and never fails with great parts and service. Most vendors(not all) aren't always helpful when you ask more questions than the parts $ you are buying. Dr.Diff is a member of the Bodies community too.
