Some of my favorite lines from Excalibur. I see this movie as about redemption after a loss of faith, and the ending as positive because the tragedy in life is made irrelevant because of triumph in spirit.

"Where lies Evil in my kingdom?"
"Always where you never expect it, always..."

"It is the doom of men that they forget."

"I did not know how empty was my soul until it was filled."

And, "I cannot give you the land, only my love."

French Connection, The 7 Ups, Vanishing Point, American Graffiti, Bullitt, White Lightning, Tombstone, to name a few.

And a few kid friendly ones...the princess bride

And here comes the boom

Debbie Does Dallas, Deep Throat, Behind the Green Door...
Okay, had to be done. Now that we got that out of the way-
Kelly's Heroes
Blazing Saddles
The Quiet Man
The Princess Bride (You're not alone, diy...)
Mars Attacks!

What can I say? It reminds me of the homeland.

that reminds me of a slight lapse of judgement i once had
i think my oldest was 5, maybe 6

i let him watch "Eight legged freaks"
on second thought that may have been a little too much for him at that age, but he loved it

in fact, it was on the other day and we watched it as a family again

I'm pretty sure my daughter and I watched most of the old school Godzilla movies from the couch when she was grade school age. When Godzilla 2000 was released, off to the drive-in we went

Also pretty much any Roger Moore/Sean Connery Bond film.
Watched a not so good Roger M JB movie last evening.
Live and Let Die,,,lots of scenes that were just time fillers, contrived motor boat action at the end.
I always thought that Sean C was the one real James Bond, the others were actors trying to fill in. Although I did enjoy Daniel Craig’s take as a rougher - edgier James Bond and thought his JB movies were great. Hopefully his last one will get released soon.

All high-brow stuff for me - Bill and Ted (1, 2, and 3), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Speed Racer

I like comedies.

Old School
Caddyshack
Blues Brothers

American Graffiti and The Shinning are good too.

Don’t care much for Peter Fonda or Susan George because the car is the real star of Dirty Mary Crazy Larry!
