What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Reinstalled the left front turn signal fender lamp... still waiting for the bulb, but I wanted a better ground to the fender. So I passed a small grinding stone through the 10-24 stud hole from underneath and clamped it in the Dremel motor above. That was fun with only 2 hands :realcrazy: Then I removed the paint from the underside of the hole.
Put the lamp back on - and discovered they'd used that strange-looking cupped speed nut for a reason. The stud mounting boss on the lamp protrudes a bit too far through the fender for the Kep nut to tighten down and bite into the steel... since I had the Dremel handy I just shortened the boss a little. :p
Now if the light bulbs would only get here. At least it doesn't have to all come off again to install the bulb!
