My FIL gave me his 1989 Jeep Cherokee after his daughter (my SIL) supposedly totaled it. The shop said the frame was bent (it wasn’t). I fixed it up for less than $400 but no one in the family wanted it. So, I found a cheap snowplow in eBay and for $1,000, I had a snow plow/vehicle. I still have it.

2 years ago, I bought a mini-backhoe. I plow my 600 foot driveway and the 700 foot common road out to the township road with the Jeep (it hasn’t snowed since I got the backhoe). One year I helped my BIL fulfill a snow removal contract he had with an apartment complex. After a full day of work, getting handed $200 was a let down (and the last time I would help him). I once drove through the development nearby and tried to plow driveways for free. But everyone thought I was trying to trick them somehow. Oh well.
