So Is It Riveted or Welded?
I just read somewhere that the Mopar '65 ABody VIN number on the door frame was welded on at the factory and what looks like rivets w/holes are actually just holes used for locating the plate.
An internet search usually describes the VIN plate as such:
"1964-65 models have the Vehicle Identification Number located on a stainless-steel plate riveted to the left front door hinge pillar post."
Who is correct?
