The VIN is not on the fender tag as Jim stated earlier. But the fender tag SO number will match the support stampings. You just have the wrong fender tag.
7?0400105 Looks like your month was obliterated. Still an 04th day production. I thought the 2nd stamping was under the rear window rubber seal? Don't go scraping yet. Let's get @clifftt or @cosgig or @Lee Robinson to chime in. They probably have seen it if it exists other than on the rad support.
