Dartin for Divorce

Well it was definitely one of those weekends... I had my birthday on Friday, woohoo 31 years old. Then right before I was coming home I got a call from the wife saying something was wrong with one of our dogs mouth. It was all swollen and there was a large lump in the back of his mouth, took him to the vet and the vet believes he may have a tumor.

I check our dogs teeth all the time, and didn't see anything last time I checked them about 1-2weeks ago. So this is definitely relatively new. He has been having a hard time eating and its been bleeding a lot the past couple of days. The vet took a biopsy of it and will let us know the results in a couple of days, if it is a tumor we will probably have to put him down. Surgery is an option but the tumor is large and in the back of his mouth, the vet said he wouldn't be able to get it all out even if they did do a surgery. If they did the surgery it would still only give him another 1-1.5yrs and his quality of life wouldn't be that great because how much of his jaw they would have to remove... We've had him for almost 8 years and he is really the best dog in the world, great with our kids and wouldn't hurt a fly.
