Man that sucks. I put my 4 legged baby girl to sleep in May of this year. I'm still not over it. I had her 18 years. Do what's best for your critter. If you think you're doing the right thing by putting him down because if quality of life issues and such , then your making the right choice. They will be waiting for you when you pass on. It will be the best reunion ever.
