Not sure where to look.

Paperwork documents miles of 53k

Buy that... like now... not later...immediately.

Or, buy mine for $50K...

Do you know the seller personally or have seen the car in person? Usually when its too good to be true it is just that. Lot of scammers out there stealing peoples pics and advertising something for dirt cheap. The buyer shows up with cash and gets robbed.
If its a legit seller you need to get over there right away.

Yes it’s legit was there for 3 hours looking at it. Apparently the car has been sitting a few years the guy thought it needed a fuel pump put one in and now it flooded at the carb.
I’m sure it will run fine once the carb is fixed. But havnt heard it run. I thought since it was not an RT and kind of plain Jane and the dash was cracked it might not be worth as much as I thought. I ran the carb code “1970”and casting numbers on side of block. Also 70
Gotta check vin on Engine oil pan rail. now that I know where it is. Thought originally the engine should have been orange, but read that some were blue.
Took me a bit to get the price down from 21k to 18k that he said was the lowest he would take.
I thought 17k was the number for me.
I’m sure he will take if I whip out the cash.
It’s not advertised anywhere just word of mouth. Anyway gonna call him tomorrow and make an offer after checking Engine vin#.

You need to stop being a cheap *** and pay the man the 18K he's agreed to. That car is worth that all day, every day! If you pass, tell me where it is and I'll get the money out of the gun safe, hook to my trailer and head that way. Both the engine and transmission VIN are on the passenger side. The trans VIN is on the side of the bellhousing on a machined pad.

70 Challengers are cool cars. 18k for that one is a no brainer BUY IT!!! I've owned both of these and sold them but wouldn't pass up a chance to buy another.

Man you should have already bought the car. It's worth more than 20K I would have happily paid the 20 and went on with my day. I bet The vin is still coded "N" But starts out JH instead of JS.

VIN L is a 70 383-2 isn't it?

Any solid, big block E body for 18K is a steal.

That challenger is clean, you will not find another one for that price as clean.
Buy it.

I will have way more than 20K in mine, when finished.

Easy alittle harsh!! I am not a cheap azz just don’t no the model as well as most you guys I guess. Sorry I was trying to share my buying experience and find out more info.
Thanks for the reply

His price is appropriate. You will be able to resale it once fixed for 25K.
There is no way you can compare a jh L code car to any 71 bs cuda. Not in the same realm.
I've been looking for a 70 JH donor car just like this and the 18K is worth the price.
If you pass, I'd be interested. As many above me have mentioned.
Please list the fender tag readout. That can change the value slightly.

What needs fixed on it? It's a Survivor. It's already worth 25K to 27K

That t5 dash pad is going to be very very difficult to find.
I've been looking for one for years. Although I'm looking for a cuda t5 dashpad.

My 70 Challenger had the T5 interior that needed some attention. I went to a specialty paint shop and had a color matched to the lower dash frame and resprayed all of the plastic interior panels. Some of the panels I used were nice black ones but everything turned out great.
