Dartin for Divorce

SO sorry for your dog. Right now, all we have are cats, but we've raised mini pins before years ago. They really become part of the family.

On your band adjustment.......you're doin it wrong. lol The proper method is tighten it down TIGHT with a small wrench. 5/16" I think it is. I believe the book spec is in inch pounds.....but I remember working it out and it was 8 foot pounds. That's good and tight with a short wrench. The reason for that is to get ALL the slack out of the band before making the adjustment......so you might be ending up a little loose. So tighten it down GOOD with a small wrench and make the 2 turns out. Or 1.5 or whatever you do. I always go 2. Just some FYI.

Good to see progress with the car.
Hope the pup doesent have to leave so soon.
We put our lab down in jan, 15 years with her. I will always miss her. Was a good dog.

i bought the 5/16” square adapter so i could do the 72 inch lbs on the band. I prefer actual torque over guesstimating.

18 and 15yrs is a long time, we thought we would get 12-15 with our pup as his breed usually lives a little longer. We adopted him when he was 6 months old, doesn't have a bad bone in his body. 3 kids use him as a stool, chair, ladder, pony, chew toy and he just lays there letting them do what ever and gives them big kisses. Follows them around the house and wants to cuddle all day long. Perfect dog and perfect friend of the family.

Yea the 5/16 sockets or wrenches i have dont fit, I need the square adapter.

72 inch pounds is 6ft pounds. I was going to do it with the tq wrench, but not having a socket or wrench that fit make it a little bit harder lol.
