i did check with the machine shop and he said “I always tell people when they pick up a crank to clean out the oil holes”. He didn’t mention a thing when i picked one up from him - did he forget, assume or ???? Irregardless, I’ve always done a thorough cleaning on any motor parts from any machine shop just in case.
