Damper Disappointment

Yes, that's it. I had to grind off part of the cast-in timing marks on the drivers side of the timing cover to get the damper to seat fully on the crank. Otherwise it fit fine.
Whoa, that doesn't sound right! Is your #3 thrust bearing shot? Slinger still attached? Suppose if all that stuff checks out its an option but thay sounded drastic reading it.
