Can anyone tell me the difference in the LCAs by year? Like what years are the same and what year is different if they are.
And center links too, for that matter!
Thanks.

That's an easy question to answer.
ALL LCA's from 1962 to 1976 are all the same thing, and interchange throughout all the A body line of cars.
The only thing is if a sway bar mount tab is welded onto the arm.
1965-72 tabs are one style.
And 73-76 tabs are another style.
But either sway bar arm, with tabs, will fit, work, interchange, in all the years, if wanted too.

Can't answer about center links.

All A body LCA's will have the letters VL stamped into the front metal, of the arm.

What do you know on the center links, 67-76?

Thanks , I thought so, but wanted to make sure. That big ball joints didn't matter on the LCAs..
Nope, LCA's have nothing to do with UCA's.

Someone else will have to chime in about differences in center links.
I know they have differences, but not up to date to give an accurate answer.

So do all the LCAs use the same Ball Joint ?

There are some appearance differences in the '62-76 lower control arms however.....including the sway bar types. I can point out a few of them if that is a concern. There were at least three different rubber bumpers for them over the years too. '62-6 models had two different center links, a 6cyl version and an 8cyl one. As far as I know, the '67-72 were all the same. Then you have the '73-6 version. Swapping them out would involve changing other parts of the steering linkage and the K-member in some cases. There may be some other details I forgot, but, I'm sure someone will flame me and point that out!

Pretty much spot on.
