Here is a picture after the 383 is installed and done. Well I have the mobile exhaust guy coming on Tuesday to run a 2 1/2” header to bumper exhaust with flow masters.

A while back i had to make some changes on a street rod that faiked provincial safety. The fuel line was almost touching the exhaust. Original builder used something similar to hydraulic hose,1/2 inside diameter. i rerouted line forward up over frame rail near rad, then outside frame rail to rear of vehicle.

Its awesome you are helping your buddy out, giving him some joy at the end of his driving carreer.
I too have deteriorating eyesight, but blindness is not in my near future, i hope. One doc said macular degeneration, other one said something else that i cant recall. Regardless, you are helping someone live their dream!!

He has dry Macular Degeneration which I understand there is no cure. He such a positive person it is really sad. Thanks for kind words.

Mopar or not that is a cool *** car! As a car guy I can really appreciate that! Your a great guy for fixing it up for your buddy! Hope he has alot of time to enjoy it very sad about his situation.

My dad had a 55 before i was born. There is one photo of it somewhere. My brother had a 57.
I just saw a roller 56 for sale. Almost tempted, but i want to get my mopar projects done before i persue something else.
No money or time, divided between 3 projects means a lot of time to get them done.

i have always liked the tri-5’s.
Hot rods by any standard. Even the 4 slammers look cool to me. A customer’s car.
