Used oil container

Years ago I had a buddy that worked as a mechanic at a local garage and they use the used oil from oil changes for their heat. They have some sort of special furnace that burns used motor oil im sure its not very environmental friendly lol but anyway they had this huge plastic tank they would just pour it in and use it for the furnace which imo is smart that's free heat for them since they do a tone of oil changes. So for years I would save my oil until I got 3 or 4 gallons and take it to them and for their heater. Quick and easy disposal for me and free heat for them. Well the garage went under new management and my buddy quit but I knew the owner so I kept taking my oil there one day I dropped off probably 4 gallon jugs and this new mechanic came by and said what are you doing? I said oh I'm just dropping my oil off for the heater, he said oh that will cost you a disposal fee! I said what?? Your gonna charge me for giving you free heat? Your full of ****! So I basically said efff you and loaded up my oil and never went back. Crazy how these garages will try and make a profit off anything! I have a pretty good friend that runs a tire shop he always cuts me a good deal on mount and balancing. He charges 10 bucks for tires disposal then turns around and then turns around and sells the used tires for 50 each if their usable. Not a bad gig gets paid 60 bucks each for used tires plus the cost of the new ones and labor! Sorry I got a little off topic! Hehe
