Has anyone ever seen a Lada in the USA?

A friend of mine and his wife had one in the mid 80s.
It turned out to be a real pile of crap that you couldn't get parts for.
They dumped it on a poor soul and it ended up being scrapped about a year later.
I personally wouldn't buy one.
