2 of our 3 mopars are slant 6 cars. We have crunched the numbers and talked about a boosted 6 vs. a mild v8 many times. The v8 wins in most scenarios and has instant torque, but the boosted 6 is fun and interesting. I would only add forced induction with efi. It was cool that they actually did the dyno test, even if it was made fun of a bit. The numbers were good for the n/a slant and better for the blower. I have never been able to kill a slant 6. I tried in high school on my 69 dodge truck, eventually swapped a big block in and sold the 6. The big block eventually developed a rod knock...
