Anyone got a 22lr lever action?
My Dads, Stevens Crack Shot 25 lever action .22 long rifle single. Story goes granddad took the boys out to a carnival and going down the midway, he decided to engage in one of the ring toss games. Make a long story short he won, the choice was a monkey or this rifle. Dad and his brothers wanted the monkey, but ended up with the rifle instead, grandpa had the last word.
The rifle long retired, has pretty much seen its’ better days, most of the rifling is gone from bird shot and black powered 22s. It will still fire, but shell ejection is not possible without the use of a ramrod. The gun is happily retired and full of stories to be passed down….
