I have a couple that look like that but only measure a little over 17 inches so I never checked the number on them. Is this for a 70-72 340? Kim

They should be 18" have either a stamp in white color or a pressed-in part number, and a white mark saying "engine side". They came on many Mopars, but are correct for 1969 cars, with LA318 and 2.76 gear ratio.
That is what I found on the Mopar parts list:

Kim, that could be. Some clowns advertise them as "HEMI" fans and think they are made out of gold. Those fans were used in many Mopar Models.
Mancini racing offers "similar" reproductions of good quality for a decent price. But since my car is a "survivor", I would like to have a nice straight fan, without rust pitting and tight rivets. Most probably I will do a compromise on the fan clutch and use an aftermarket part.

Funny story on the side: At a recent car show somebody asked if my Midland Ross brake booster is from a HEMI! I should have said yes and sell him the thing for $2000 :) - unbelievable!

Happy Halloween,

Wolfgang

So, yes the 215 fan is used on 426 Hemis and .... 318s, but the HP applications drive the price. They are clearly stamped with the number and the Pentstar logo also embossed, which makes it nice to have the correct as the id clearly visible when looking at the engine.

I have good news/bad news, perhaps for you. The good news is I have a 215, the bad news is that it is neither good or in excellent condition. The one I have available though is not particularly pitted, it is edge damaged and needs restoration. PM me if you are still interested.

Just for reference, but here is a picture of the original fan and clutch out of my 69 340 engine.
The part number was stenciled on and I don't recall ever seeing the number stamped on the fan blade.
