Stop in for a cup of coffee

Took the day off work yesterday for "danger" tree removals in front of property. Only got one as second one is leaning on a smaller alder that if it goes will take out the power lines. My tree guy is in Montana hunting till Sunday, hope we don't much more wind before he can take it out.

I don't f'k with trees like that. I will take a straight one down, or leaning in a direction it won't hit anything. Just too much weight and **** happens fast when they let go... I have one I will probably end up paying to have removed. Silver maple with a double trunk. Not a big deal other than it makes a mess on my shed roof and part of the reason the sides don't dry out and turn green...Should have done it 10 years ago. Little more than I am comfortable with now. I got a quote of $550 last year when they were working next door. That's with them dropping it and chipping the branches and me cutting up the firewood.
