Can Motor Be Installed Without Removing Hood?
I'm doing this work without a helper. I decided to install the motor and transmission together. When a carpenter shows up around here to do some door fabrication for the house, I will ask him to help me remove and store the hood.
I marked around the bolt holes which should help a little bit upon re-installation. But that hidden plate behind the bolts seems to move around freely when the hood is not installed (it does have a set-screw, actually small bolt, that holds it in place which can just barely be seen in far left of second photo).
