Deer season is over for me!

Stalked this one for days, finally subdued it with my bare hands...

Colorado is pretty much one tag only also. If you have your own land, or have a friend with land, then you can sometimes get a second "private land" tag.

I didn't get to hunt at all this year, they closed Arapahoe and Roosevelt National forests due to the high fire danger. Basically sat around the house and watched my tag expire. Pretty much sucked.

that is tough... but think of all that fresh black in what was lots of beetle kill, that will turn succulent green for the next 10 years. You'll have undulates busting out of the seams!

Not the biggest one in the woods, but he’s headed for the freezer. In Michigan, we have two buck tags so I’m looking for a big one now. Plus I have a doe tag.

I don't hunt or fish but my best buddy sent this to me last week. Trail Cam pic of an albino. His neighbor lets him hunt on his 45 acres and he always gets his limit.
NE Ohio.

Remember what I said in my original post about knowing there was a much bigger deer in the area. The following is from the last week and a half at my stand that I was going to hunt for the last week of our season which ended today. But you know what they say about a bird in the hand. One of my buddies shot the Piebald buck on Friday morning.

Ended up tagging out. Not the buck I was after but made a split second decision and shot. Thought he was bigger, but we will eat well. Still have time to fill the doe tag!!
