Good ear Dwayne, you are spot on. The carb has a BLP BX4 main body with a 1.59" venturi and I'm thinking it's to much on the hit. I'd like to find a good used 1.75", four corner idle base plate and metering blocks to put my old 950HP main body on ti test against the one on it now. I still have the notes from the dyno pulls to set a good base line for the carb if I can find the parts.
