All,
If you have any doubt about what Dana at Woodruff Carburetor Specialties can do then look below. I sure wish I would have taken a before picture of this carb. It was a Carter remanufactured from 1978 that I bought years ago. There was no plating on it but it was an original number matching carb that I needed for my 73 340 4 speed. The pictures below tell it all. Thanks Dana! It turned out perfect.

Wow, you sure that's your old carb? It looks like new fresh out of the box!

He did an absolute wonderful job. It is going on the engine this month and then getting run on the engine dyno.

It looks great. Do you mind if i ask how much it cost, just to give me a rough estimate of what it would cost me to have one done?

First and foremost when it comes to cost, ensure when you inquire you do it from FABO. Dana offers a 10% discount when you inquire from here. He and his shop, Woodruff Carburetor Specialties, is a registered vendor of FABO. My total cost, with shipping, was less than $400. That included the 10% discount, shipping to his shop, the work he did, and shipping back to me. It took about 3-4 weeks if I remember correctly. I am not sure that I could have got it done anywhere else for that price. If so, I doubt it would be the quality that Dana has done. Also, keep in mind I am a carb guy. I have my own carburetor rebuild business. I sent it to Dana because I do not have plating and restoring capabilities. I cannot restore any carburetor to brand new appearance like what you seen in the photos above. He did a fantastic job and I will recommend him to anyone that comes to me wanting a carburetor restored to like new condition.

That is actually cheaper than I thought it would be. That is a good price for that nice of a job.
