Stop in for a cup of coffee

Damn plumbing! I had the supply line out by the shut off valve outside repaired a week or so ago. They used a compression fitting and that's what I used to tap into the supply lines under my sink in the basement. It worked pretty slick!
If they are gonna leak, will usually happen on install, not later. Just need a smooth surface to start with. I think this sink was installed by the drywall guys. LOL. Solder runs down the pipes I had to clean off with a razor blade for the compression ring.. The drain line is almost straight coming from floor, but they stubbed another piece onto it at slight angle, Made it tough to get the new trap on. I almost bought a universal kit with a flex line, but didn't like the idea of an accordion line catching crud inside. just seemed like a clog waiting to happen. It's together and not leaking now, so hope it stays that way. LOL
