Magnum V belt conversion
WHY? A few reasons-
I pulled the whole drive train out of a 93 Cherokee and stuffed it into a 60 Studebaker Lark but first problem was couldn't squeeze in the Jeep power steering box and as Studebaker PS was an expensive option i decided on EAPS so the serpentine system would need modifying anyway.
Also here in Spain i need an inspection to register the car so if they pop the hood and see a serpentine system they will assume its non original engine and request costly engineer reports whereas if they see at a glance an old looking engine with V belts its very unlikely they will question its originality.
Finally it will see the road a lot quicker if i am just dealing with water pump and alternator belts and i think the engine will look smarter with a V belt set up.
