If I were looking to put together a performance oriented build(as opposed to needing to replace some cracked original magnums on my pick up)......and one of the heads I was considering was the Speedmaster Magnum replacement head, I’d spend the extra $16/pr and use their aluminum LA heads instead.

Absolutely.
I'll probably buy an aluminum LA set for another project.. but for my truck, that i use for work ,and has that big mount bracket and all those accessories like a/c & ps.. bolt on is what i need. The Machine they used to cut them.. tons of them, no wonder. Im going straight to 2.02/1.60 valves. Should have them on the flowbench tuesday/weds. But its just a 4x4 truck, if i just blend them and they happen to flow 250 or 260, good enough...maybe.
