Magnum Rocker Arm Pivot Direction

Does it make any diff on the direction these are assembled. I tore down some rockers off old magnum heads and they were assembled at random. My new engine is together but hasn't been fired, double checking some thoughts. I assembled mine in random directions but can change them.

IIRC, the tapered grooves on each side point towards the exhaust side of the heads.
 
I just went out to the garage and pulled one off a 100% stock 2001 engine I have. The closer taper of the lines goes towards pushrods
