hello all, I’m making custom upper control arms with big ball joints. for my ‘65 Valiant. Does anyone have any idea how I could make an upper ball joint mount like what is on the QA1 arms? I’ve thought about tapping threads in a piece of tube to fit them or finding a pre-made steel bung with the correct threads. Just wanted to see if there are any good ideas out there thanks!
 
They sell them new in Circle Track supply places.

Used to be $10-$15 years ago.
 
Otherwise, they make these things called a "lathe.........................."
