440 what am I missing here?

As far as headers go I have manifolds on it.

Houston.....we have a problem.

The cam is a very poor choice for ex manifold use.

The choices:
-Put real headers on it
-Put a noticeably different cam in it
-Do neither and live with the performance not being what it could be
