When I first got married I bought a small used 1970 something trailer and we lived in it for 4 years while searching for a forever house. We never found one so in 2009 we bought a brand new single wide. At the time it was extremely nice (still is) but I regret it I wish we would have been more patient and bought or built a house. Iv been paying on this moble home for almost 12 years now and have paid more than its worth now and still owe almost 9 years more. The price tag was 45k by the time its paid off i will have paid around 112k for it and its virtually worthless right now! I maybe able to sell it for 12k or less stupid stupid stupid decision. I let the anticipation of owning a new home get to me. Its a good home and im proud of it iv worked my butt off for it but financially in the long run its a bad decision. These mobile home people take advantage of young middle class people and make it sound like its there only option.
Ya being there done that that’s why I slap my boys upside the head. BUILD something cheap u can live in for a few years then you can fix your toys in it when you get a house. never loose on real-estate if land is $10,000 and a bottle whiskey $10 if the Land price goes to $100,000 the whiskey will be $100 same thing works in reverse proven fact. Bought 1 new car in my life (the dart) never again let some other sap suck up all the depreciation. Thing is worth 5000 less as soon as u drive it off lot. That’s a hit I’m not willing to take.

Typical salespeople I'm afraid. Just like a car salesman....lowest of the low and would sell their grandmother to make a sale. I have no time for them. I have to laugh when I see those ads for a new car saying 0% interest for so many years. Guess what... the interest is already added in the price of the car so don't be fooled by that, it's just another sales gimmick. So if you're paying cash for the car do your homework and calculate how much the interest will cost and deduct that off the price of the car.
Like I said before if the man wears penny loafers to work he is not to be trusted until he proves it

Same here. Bought a new S10 for 14.5K , sold it 3 years later for 10K. All used for me.

I’ve got a bunch of weeds in my backyard. You can have them for $20, but they need pulling first.

When I was working at UHaul as a mechanic we had a storage facility. People would abandon crappy RVs there and average cost was 500-1000$ to have somebody come pick them up to remove them.

Not worth the gas to haul it home. Scrap is at an all time low. You will never make money scrapping anything out. So far as making a cool car hauler, "no title."

And "we" are assuming the engine runs. Missing transmission, might be fairly likely the engine is "toast"
MIGHT be fairly likely??? I'd bet a month's pay that the engine is burnt toast.

Yup penny loafers dreams of wind in your hair beautiful girl on your arm and easy payments for 60 years and somehow the 60 years part is only whispered once while the salesman has his back to you.

I had a Travco I finally found someone to haul it away. Give it thought....traveling across the Midwest when it breaks down. Now what are you gonna do?

413 mopar I believe if you put a 440 crank in that block and find a set of stage 4 heads (good luck with that) you’d have a 426 max wedge engine. Guy down the street

uh WHUT?? There is no difference between 413 and 426 / 440 stroke

If you have a 426, that's what you have. The only block you can "make" one out of is to bore a 413 to 426. There are only two B/RB factory strokes.....The early 350, and 361, most 383's and all 400's were B / low deck/ short stroke

Some 383's for a couple of early years were made in RB, and of course 413, 426, 440, all same long stroke. RB, or "raised block" and long stroke

Interestingly, people think of B engines as long stroke big block engines, but they actually have a shorter stroke than Chev 350

Thanks for that info I’m a small block guy my self. But that’s because that’s what I have. I seem to remember something about a square block cast into engine block around distributor is this how u can tell an RB block
