Good Parts that Gave their Lives in Battle

Got off the freeway doing 65 +

Turned left and was going 45 when all of a sudden the rear locked up.

WTF....

Rear of truck started to pass the front with a telephone pole in its sights.

Counter steered and the rear started to roll again.

Coasted into a gas station and stopped.

Had no idea what happened, no oil dripping, no signs of damage. so I started it up and put it into reverse and BANG.

The rear cover now had a huge hole and dumped the oil out on the ground.

Turns out the pinion shaft came out as it was spinning and locked the rear solid, putting it in reverse spun it the other way and smacked the pan.
