Well a couple weeks ago we had to put our dog Winston down that we have had for 8 years... it was a rough couple of weeks, especially for the kids. Well good news is we are getting another puppy and need to figure out a name for her! We should be able to bring her home next week, the dog with the teal color is what ours should look like when grown...

We like names that were more common in the older generations (no offense, but didn't know how to phrase that differently). Ie- Winston, Louie, Ruby, Rose....

so let's hear some suggestions! +2 points if it is mopar related... she already said no to mopar and dart...lol.

Dart

She looks like she will be darting around.

Swinger
She might go to all the male dog houses around you.

Duster (dusty) she is kind of dust colored

I liked swinger too and she just gives me "the look" when I say that. She said no to Hemi as well haha.

Bring it home and get to know its personality for a few days and give it a name that matches it's personality...

When I first got married, my wife gave me a Dalmatian for Christmas, knowing that I had a few when I grew up... Then when I went to see the dog at the pet store, they mentioned that they had another in back and I asked to see it... That one looked similar to the one that was my best friend when I grew up and couldn't leave it there, and couldn't leave the other, so I decided to get the other one also.... (When you can't decide, get both....)

We brought them home and spent some time with them... One was male and the other was female... We called them boy and girl for the first week....

My male was sort of a clown and while playing with him one day my wife said, "Come here Buster Brown".... I thought that matched his personality and we named him Buster....

The female had many sides to her personality, so I named her Sybil after the woman you hear about in psychology class with the 7 different personalities.... She could be sweet, bossy, sneaky, playful, caring, protective, etc...

Their middle names were Bonnie and Clyde because they were partners in crime....

So I recommend getting to know it before you name it...

Snot. Can’t go wrong with a dog named “Snot.” Kids will love it.

This is what my step dad used to say is the proper way to name a dog. I like your train of thought.

I also kind of like the name "kitty"
