I have a rotisserie restored 1972 Duster Twister, does not have the 6 cylinder automatic, it has a 360 A833 4 speed, looking for a extra hood, i can find all other metal body parts if needed but no oem hoods, only thing I find is resin, fiberglass no metal, thanks

Twister is the only Plymouth Duster that came with scoops....non functional mail box scoops with black bezels...same hood for 71 and 72 twister...73 twister got 69 cuda scoops ...

Thank's! I didn't know that the bezels were supposed to black. Were the scoops painted black or with Orginosol?

Best looking hoods, 72 demon and duster twisters

Where in Texas are you? PM me & I can give you some contacts that may have an excellent used hood.

My ‘71 A51 came with the scoops but “supposedly” no Organisol paint or strobe stripe on the hood. Not listed on fender tag or build sheet, either. I have read that the black stripe hoods were optional on a ‘71 twister, but I’ve always thought all twisters were black striped and taped hoods as standard part of the A51 package. Mine has a hood from a ‘72 as the original hood was scrapped before I got the car.

Yes the twister hood was the best looking, I have the strobe stripe, scoops and black outs for the hood, they will be installed week after next, this Chrysler commercial had the true 340 and above it was the quickest, the twister was next to it and above it was the newest
