Bucket Seat Track

Hopefully nobody sells (you or me) damaged goods. Most a person should have to do is to work in plenty of lithium type grease into the sliding mechanism, inspect and lube cables and coil springs and of course the threaded studs that attach thru the floor. Clamp stationary part of each bracket in vise, etc., and work moving part back and forth. Note that the outside brackets (with adjust lever) are spring-loaded so be mindful of extra effort to extend those pieces. Sometimes the moving ball bearing partially embeds itself into the stationary bracket part but I've never had to refurbish or do anything major to any of my brackets over the past 50 years. Now, rust can be a different story.
