TF270 vs. Edelbrock Victor

Agree with Andy. I have a set of the maxwedge victors. I would have definately bought the 270 trickflows. The didn't exist when i bought my victors. Porting the victors, and getting the rediculously expensive rockers that you need for the victors, and dont need with the trickflows....... you decide.
Yeah the weird offset on the rocker arms plus the short installed height of the valve spring was what killed the deal for me. Plus I didn't like the odd design of the valley tray. That was before the TF heads were available so I bought EZ heads after selling the Victor heads. These days I'd use TF 240 for street, TF 270 heads for race up to 750 hp and then Indy heads if you want to make more than 800 hp. I don't use Edelbrock heads anymore. Which is odd since they were the first ones out there with a good aftermarket aluminum head for the big block.
