My 5.9 for my project.
Hello to all,
First, I want to thank so many of you on this forum for the advise I have been given in my project!!
Its not an A body.... its a 87 dakota 4wd 5sp.....
But never the less, I have received so much help and information from many of you and this forum.
Below are 3 pictures of the Engine. It's all stock. I literally did a backyard rebuild.
Took it apart, cleaned up with a pressure washer, Honed the cylinders, and checked things as best as I could.
Replaced the following
1. Cylinder heads (new stock replacements)
2. Turned crankshaft kit.
3. New, rings, rod, cam, and main bearings, new oil pump, timing set, gaskets, and freeze plugs.
4. Edelbrock 7577 intake
5. used holley 670
6. HEI distributor
7. Waterpump, AC compressor, Belt, and idler pulley.
