About the clock ... I bought one and over time it lost its neon so it’s dark now and it doesn’t keep time ... probably help if I changed the battery :)

Back in 2001 I bought an American made Rt 66. Neon sigh and it’s been on ever since .

For reasons I don't want to go into...I hate those clocks

I buttoned up that injector pump today. I was off by 1 tooth and had to reset it. She is not perfect but runs a hell of alot better now. Put it outside for now and off to the next project.

OK I've been on the forum since 2008 following other peoples builds and the slant 6 threads . I've posted many times .

Now about me I retired in 1999 at age 49 . Bought a Casita travel trailer and we have been traveling every spring summer and fall ever since . Sold it and replaced it 2004 with a different floor plan Casita sold that in 2012 and replaced it with a 1969 Airstream project
took three years to get it on the road .

Meanwhile I bought a '56 Chevy pu in 1990 played with it for 30 years just sold it this year.
Also bought a friends '56 GMC Suburban Pick up in '96 played with it a few years then it sat until I sold it this year to the same guy that bought the '56 .
2008 I bought a '57 GMC NAPCO pick up . After years of dithering I finally decide to make it the next build and sold the other trucks .

But I digress This is a MOPAR forum so who cares about Bowties . Trouble is if you let one in they multiply . I still have a SSR in the garage .

OK enough for now , time for breakfast .

More to come , this time MOPAR

Nothing wrong with a bow tie mostly if it's old. I like the 55 Ford pick ups as well.

Happy Thanksgiving all I sure hope it's a good one.
Drink lots eat lots and belch and fart as loud as you can. :)

Getting to know me part 2
Last time I mentioned I retired , from what you ask , Auto & medium truck mechanic for 30 years .

Now about my Mopar history , way back in 1963 dad was looking at new cars so we went over to the Chevy dealer and we mom dad and me took a 2 door Corvair for a test drive , guess who got the back seat . I was not thrilled .
So while we were on the test drive in the Corvair I suggested stopping at the Dodge dealer .
We then took a Dart 170 4 door for a test drive , I was happy and said buy one we were all happy .

When we finally got back to the Chevy dealer to the relief of the now sweating salesman we said thank you but no sale .

We returned to the Dodge dealer and ordered a '63 Dart 270 4 door /6 auto white with red interior am radio heater w.s.w. tires deluxe wheel covers .

In '65 dad took me to the Dodge dealer to see about getting me a new Dart . We took a red with black interior GT with HiPo 273 auto P/S A/C am radio disc brakes red strip tires on Cragar's . It was hot and I wanted it , BUT to my dismay it was already sold dang it. Just as well I probably would have lost my license in short order being in high school if not that then I'd have been broke buying tires .

Opps its Lunch now , To be continued ...

Haven't herd from BP for some time now I hope he's doing well.
Doing alright been kind of busy. All caught up. Gonna bury the wifes Momma on Monday but you already know that Fred. Got her stuff moved out of the assisted living home she was in. Donated a ton of stuff and have another ton to go. My parking garage looks like a second hand store. lol Hope you all are doing well and Happy Thanksgiving.
