I have never seen a set of rear window defroster vents, nor the blower, offered. I don't know they even made vents and blower for a '67 barracuda. I do see that there are holes in the deck plate for these, and I have seen a blower for a '68 charger. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks, and stay safe..

Fastback or notchback?

This is for a fastback. No vent(s). Just one vent.

Dave, you always come thru. My Barracuda is a Notchback. I see where the long thin vent mounts on a Charger, and I suspect it will mount the same on the Fastback, but I anticipated it would take two air diverters similar to the ones in front to move the air. Just can't see how it will mount, unless it is to one of the speaker mount areas. Any idea of where to locate one?

Notchbacks are unique.

Round diffusers that fit into the 2 round package tray body cutouts. And there’s a special split air hose (shown packed in a box).

Here’s mine

Blower mounts in rear package tray speaker hole. And the package tray is had slots for speakers.

I added an also rare factory offset adapter that allows you to have dual speakers AND rear de-fogger. That was not available on 68 Barracuda (nor any A-body that I know of). But was a rare option on 71-up B-body and E-bodies. More found on C-bodies, but still rare.

Dave, I don't want to say something and then have to go out to the water tower to just off the sucker just to save a little grace. I'll chase it. Am I picking up that you might haver a great set of blower and motors and vents for a 67 Notchbacks that is approaching the last count before the toys go on. I'd love to see if finished like it should bi. Dave, enough bull, would you like to sell the pieces for when you gather them up? I'd be interest

Anyone wishing to sell their purse of goodies? I am fond of sparkling swithches and of the blowhard vents. What's in the box would give someone some joyous events to talk about.........It has got to be tripomyophin in the Turkey.

hello all of you, that i'm searching for : Barracuda fastback 67 rear defroster with fan & wire.
I'm in france with recently imported gold Fish (3 years)
as I see on some photo, maybe B-body could be adapted.
let me know on PM.
Thanks

I have a unit from a 70' Dart I think it would work in in a Barracuda coupe the package tray looks about the same. I will post some pics later of both the defroster unit and a Dart package tray.
This unit is for sale $65 plus ride money. **I can’t find the grille for mine I only have the blower, duct with tube, wiring and switch so at the moment mine is incomplete :BangHead:
