Shipping

You have to know how to ship out of the US to be a successful seller. I have in my meager bear trap mind, the size and weight restrictions of more than a few countries, and one rule of thumb is always use the post office when shipping to Canada. Flat rate boxes are also preferred. I remember once a guy in Australia wanted the headliner trim i had listed for a B body. The length limit on Aussie packages is 46”, these were over that. I told him the package was too long and it wouldn’t ship. He told me to cut the overhead pieces in 1/2 and ship them that way and he would weld them back together. Done deal. I ship all over the world, just had a package of headliner trim for a 64 Barracuda go to the Netherlands, he was happy to get it, despite the charges being double what the part cost. Another friend made, and another car being brought back to life!
