DING DING DING SOUND THE ALARM!...

I took a chance on SM's crank trigger setup yesterday for $125. Didn't know they sold them until it showed up in a Summit search. Wheel/brackets look like copies of the MSD that was selling for $310. I was likely going to modify the MSD version as it was, at worst i can imagine maybe replacing SM's magnets and pickup.

Looks like they don’t make it for mopars. I couldn’t find it anyway. I’d buy it for that price if I could get it.

I really wonder if you’re playing with fire running these fully built heads right out of the box. And I’m sure they’re work, but for how long? I guess for a budget build, sure send it. But if you got money in your bottom end, I’d be afraid to bolt on cheap heads and run them hard, but that’s just me. You gotta ask yourself, do you feel lucky, well do ya? :). Bare castings built up with quality hardware sounds like the way to go with these.
Long before I bought my Speedmaster heads I checked into all this doubt casting on these heads... Everybody who ran them out of the box seem to have good results.. when I got mine I took them down to a machine shop and they took them apart put them back together.
All aspects were inspected.. spring run rate valve run out everything.. all they did was re lubricate the valve guides as they had sat on a shelf for a long time.. they've worked fine so far this year on my Stroker motor with an expensive bottom end..
I've given them a good thrashing and so far no problems...
I see absolutely no need to cast doubt and that's from someone who has them on their expensive bottom end practically out of the box... My-2..

^^^ to add to that lots of members bought them last year and to this day I have yet to hear any major problems and for that matter any problems...

^^^as a matter of fact I'm even hearing the gurus saying they like them better than the Edelbrocks...

After seeing the SM beside the Edelbrocks, I don't think there any way I'd have Eddie heads.
Hello, trying to figure out if these are closed chambers or open.I prefer closed chambers but there site doesn't say.
Has anyone put a 2.08 valve in there 190 heads and have results?

@MOPAROFFICIAL Has a positive opinion of these heads.
Here's the link to the site... Now if I could just get my rich uncle to quit squeezing that pile of Franklins and Grants so hard...

Me last night..
Speedmaster black friday has begun

East coast time is usually the start, so i checked last night at 9:01 pm...and there it was..black friday speedmaster sale. Seemed like everyone was asleep when it started, but that's usually when santa shows up anyhow, right?

Question, the heads only work on LA 360 correct?
I have a 5.9 magnum without oil feed hole to head.

If I have a BB 383 street car and looking to reduce weight on from end, Do either of the cast BB heads strike you as better? There is a 23$ difference. The runner and cc are the same.

edit...I see it now. Hydraulic roller vs Hydraulic flat tappet.

get the Promaxx BB heads that are the Edelbrock copies. 84cc combusiton chamber. 15% off right now.
$978, no tax. probably $75 shipping or so.
MAXX 210 BB MOPAR (Sold in Pairs) - PROMAXX Performance Products

quality of the machine work is wayyy better than Speedmaster heads..

On the Magnum to LA head, Either have a machine shop drill the oil holes for the head or partially drill and intersect the holes and drill and tap tap to pressurized oil feed in the galley to run hard line. Or find a 360 LA core and start over.

Which roller rockers are better the PCE or the Speedmasters? PCE shows in stock. Ready to pull trigger but wanted testimonies on them

They probably come out of the same factory. If they are bushed stainless steel I wouldn’t worry about it. If they have needle bearings and are aluminum I’d pass.

Plan on talking to Mike at B3 about any roller rocker setup you choose. I've been told the Speedmaster/Procomp have the most problems with geometry and need the most correction.
The springs are the difference between hydraulic roller as opposed to flat tappet. i.e. Edelbrock 5845 that they use for performer RPM heads set up for hydraulic roller have 150lbs seat @1.80.

How good are the SB intakes? Do they have bad coreshift issues like the older offshore intakes?

Do they make a BB intake?
